To celebrate ReceiptFarm's launch we are giving away not ten, but one classic ZX Spectrum! To take part, just tweet using the hashtag #moonfarm.

If you've never seen one of these slick machines in real life, they are just as streamlined and beautifully-moulded as they look in the picture. And don't get us started on those rubber keys...

Our CTO is already shuddering at the thought of having to bid farewell to this masterpiece of 80s design and ship it off to its new home - anywhere in the UK. The lucky winner will also receive a free ReceiptFarm Max account for 1 year.

How to enter

To participate in our launch giveaway, all you need to do is include the #moonfarm tag in any tweet on twitter. You can be creative with your tweet or re-tweet our message.

You can tweet #moonfarm as often as you like. Each of these tweets will be eligible and a winner chosen at random using an algorithm. No bots or automated scripts please, this is meant to be a bit of Speccie fun!

Rules

  1. This competition is offered by ReceiptFarm Limited ("ReceiptFarm") and is open to any UK resident with a Twitter account who is at least 16 years of age. Employees and agents of ReceiptFarm and family members of such employees are not eligible to enter.
  2. The last date for entries is 22nd July 2009.
  3. Winners will be notified by Twitter from our @receiptfarm Twitter account and announced on this site by 31st July 2009.
  4. The prize is a second hand ZX Spectrum.
  5. To enter the competition you must send out a tweet from your own Twitter account and include #moonfarm in your message. The rest of the message is up to you, and you are welcome to retweet our competition launch tweet and the prize URL. Or just say whatever you feel like. And you don't have to be a customer of ReceiptFarm to enter, so no purchase is required.
  6. You can tweet as many times as you like (though entries using automated tweets will be disqualified).
  7. We will choose winners randomly from all the entries received. The random winner will be determined by computer. Not a ZX Spectrum. Unless our CTO gets carried away and breaks out his Sinclair BASIC skills.
  8. ReceiptFarm shall have no liability for (i) any technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the rubber keys getting stuck down slightly inside the plastic casing; (ii) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition; (iii) any derogatory remarks on the part of ex-Commodore 64, Amiga or Atari fanboys.
